After Reading "Weblogs: Learning in Public"

It is good article containing the introduction and usefulness of weblog. It shows the productive out comes and interest of students after implementing the weblog practice. The article is an evaluation of performance and reaction or feedback on use of weblog by a group of students of a Norwegian University. It has shown many aspect of blog. Weblogs provides a chance for students to experience writing in a public space where their work can be evaluate by their classmates and by other stake holder like teacher, community, writer and other. This provides students an open forum to discuss and expand their understanding and area of knowledge and expertise. The blog provide a communication centre for students but yet it doesn't seem important for some students and they came to know later about communication is essential and blog is a best means of communication with other. Same time it's shown that there may be some consequences as comment by stakeholder or concerned person.

I think that use of blogs is really creative and significant. It’s about making more effective way of our own learning, establishing our views, and expressing our own opinions for discussion. It’s about responding to the environment around us and listening to the responses from them.

It helps to change and improve our way of thinking, writing and presentation skill. The opportunity to create of blogs during academic session has provided to understand the importance of publishing individual’s ideas and findings and analyzing that how other thinks about our view. It’s really a new and latest way of learning. Through it, we can share our views ideas to each other, even information and message too; which develops the communication skills as well. Finally we can say that everyone should create a blog and put own ideas and views; and update it; review it; edit it and add new post every time; then one day we'll find that we've earned remarkable development on writing, analyzing and other skills. Same time we can make many friends. Some day the blog may stand as milestone for overall academic, career, business or political success.
